Casting Desdemona

Blake lively is someone who i believe would be a suitable character in the role of Desdemona. In the TV show gossip girl she was very much concerned with the men around her, as well as caring deeply for the men in her life which Desdemona indeed has the same quality, e.g. Othello, her father and innocently, Cassio. This actress recently played a role in the movie 'The age of Adaline' where she is portrayed to have a supressed want for passion and love, we see this in Othello when Desdemona marries the man she loves instead of sticking to her role as a female and being passive in society. In addition to this, Desdemona is always described as a beautiful character which is definately a quality that this actress possesses.
